Python Workshop at Fresno State for Summer Undergraduate Researchers In-Person
This 2-day hands-on workshop is designed for summer undergraduate researchers. It will cover the basics of coding in Python, from the introductory topics to creating custom functions. By the end of the workshop, learners will be able to write structured programming in Python to work with matrices and dataframes, and create basic visualizations. While the workshop will briefly discuss lightweight use of AI assisted coding, goal of the workshop is to provide learners with knowledge of Python, programming concepts, and basic project development, which can then be applied to their own research.
Please register to receive setup instructions. The workshop will be Thursday and Friday, 9am - 3:30pm each day.
Friday's session is designed to allow both a lunch break and STRIDE students to attend their noon-1pm Zoom session.
